We train our muscles all of the time but there is one muscle that you might be forgetting.

SELF DISCIPLINE - Use it or lose it ladies!

We train our mental muscles (self discipline) the same way we train our physical muscles.

Instead of going from half press ups to full press ups you will find yourself using a new sense of drive to eat those vegetables, drink that water and a determined focus on fuelling your body with nutritious food, not convenient quick fixes.

Training your self discipline will give you the same hurt zone that a good set of burpees does. Let’s be honest, we’d probably all enjoy a squiggle top with our cuppa every night but we don’t need it. Be determined, make those healthy choices (in this case a cuppa and nutritious snack, if you’re actually hungry).

Just like that workout, you do it because you know it’s good for you.

  • Set your alarm and GET UP!

  • Move your body, even when you don’t want to. CONSISTENCY is key.

  • Write down your goals, make them small, stick to them.

  • Prioritise exercise, leave the washing, it can wait!

  • Give yourself comfort without the sweet treats, non food comforts are what you need.

  • Do the things you find hard, it’s when you’re really challenging yourself that you make the most gains.
