Easy Slow Cooker Devilled Sausages
Ingredients
10 beef sausages
1 onion, diced
1 C beef stock
1 apple, peeled and diced
1 x 400g chopped tomatoes
2 Tbsp tomato sauce
2 Tbsp Worchestershire sauce
2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
2 Tbsp fruit chutney
1 tsp thyme leaves
Good crack of salt & pepper
Directions
Add all of the ingredients to the slow cooker, stir together and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 8 hours. Optional—brown off the sausages first in a pan, before placing them into the slow cooker. Or if you have an Instant Pot, you could brown the sausages and onion off together with a wee bit of oil using the saute function, before swapping to the slow cooker function.
Serve with mashed potato and steamed broccoli on the side. YUM! Serves 5.
